Wheelchair Seating & Positioning

Beginning in October 2021, Restorations PT is proud to offer a Wheelchair Seating & Positioning Clinic, lead by Megan Defebo, OTR/L, ATP.

We provide mobility assessments for power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, scooters, and specialty adaptive equipment for adults and children. Our goal is to provide efficient equipment assessments for those in need of corrective devices.

The benefits of working with Restorations PT are:

• Letters of Medical Necessity are completed properly and timely, to ensure clients receive equipment as fast as possible. Letters are completed within 48 hours of evaluation.
• Megan Defebo works directly with wheelchair vendors to assure appropriate device is selected.
• Provides in person wheelchair demonstrations and ability to trial equipment before selecting (coming in 2022, as our space is expanded!)
• We can provide pressure mapping services for wound care and proper cushion selection.
• Flexible scheduling–no long wait times for appointments.
